Wharfedale Onyx Centre 2The Onyx Centre 2 is the large centre speaker in this series and features a 1” tweeter and two 5” mid/bass drivers. It is the ideal match for the Onyx 300’s for home theatre applications, although there is no reason why it cannot be used with the Onyx 200.
Once again, the Wharfedale engineers have designed the drivers and crossover used in this speaker to specifically suit their purpose, which is to reproduce the entire human vocal range, even at relatively low volumes.
The tweeter and mid/bass drivers are housed in a super-stiff aluminium front baffle, and the cabinets are finished in a multi-layered piano black or piano white finish.
